Digital X-Rays

Digital imaging is essential to modern diagnostic and treatment services, and digital X-rays are the most common form of imaging. Taken at least once a year, or as necessary for diagnostic purposes, digital X-rays are faster and safer than traditional radiography. You don’t have to wait while your image is being processed because it is digitally projected onto a chairside monitor. The equipment also emits up to 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays.

Intraoral Cameras

When your dentist visually inspects your teeth, gums, and oral tissues, a tiny intraoral camera can often ensure the most accurate and precise results. The small camera can be maneuvered with the help of a wand so your dentist can see hard-to-view areas of your oral cavity, as the picture is projected onto a digital chairside monitor.

Conebeam CT Scanning

CT, or computed tomography, is an advanced imaging technique designed to create accurate, digital models of your teeth and oral structures. Conebeam scanning involves the use of multiple digital X-rays that diverge, creating a cone. By utilizing conebeam CT scanning, we can rapidly and accurately measure your oral structures and take detailed digital molds to enhance the precision of your diagnosis and the results of your treatment planning process.

CEREC Same-Day Crowns

Designing and creating a customized porcelain restoration, such as a dental crown, traditionally takes several weeks. However, instead of sending your tooth’s measurements and requirements to an off-site lab to create your crown, we can do it all in-house thanks to advanced CEREC technology. The digital imaging and printing technology takes highly detailed digital images of your tooth and dental ridges, then sends those measurements to an onsite milling machine. The machine crafts your porcelain crown immediately so we can secure it in place all in just one day.
