Dr. Nauert is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. A Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry must complete a minimum of 500 continuing education hours and pass a 400 question exam to be so recognized. He is active in the local and national dental society, serving as Chairman of the Legislative Affairs committee.

Dr. Vaughan is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. A Master in the Academy of General Dentistry must complete a minimum of 1100 continuing education hours in 16 dental disciplines, 400 of which need to be hands-on training, to be so recognized. He is active in the local, state and national dental society.

 

 

  

Dr. Vaughan recently was awarded board certification in general dentistry through the American Board of General Dentistry.  Board Certification by the American Board of General Dentistry signifies the pinnacle of achievement in general dentistry. In attaining board certification, your dentist demonstrates a commitment to providing the best possible patient care through a dedication to his or her continuing education.  Board Certification is awarded only after completion of a series of written, clinical, and oral examinations.  Currently only 1 percent of general dentists have achieved this prestigious Board Certification status.

Dr. Vaughan was named New Dentist of the year in 2010 by Texas Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Nauert and Dr. Vaughan have both been named Top Dentists in Texas by Texas Monthly for the last three years. Additionally, Dr. Nauert was named by the Consumer Research Council as one of the Top Dentists in America in 2003-2004.

 

Dr. Vaughan was selected by his peers as a Houstonia Top Dentist for 2014, 2015, and 2016.  The survey, which was sent to dentists in the Greater Houston area asked dentists "If you had a patient in need of a dentist, which dentist would you refer them to?"  Dentists were asked to consider years of experience, education, manner with patients, and the use of new techniques and technologies.
